Born from a deep love of the ocean, Oceano Jewels was founded in 2015 by Harriet Batchelor Rountree to reimagine pearl jewelry with a contemporary twist. Inspired by her background in art history, sculpture, and restoration, each collection reflects the ocean’s fluid forms and the unique beauty of every pearl.

harriet's story
Originally from Mauritius, Harriet draws on a rich and diverse journey through Paris, Italy, and Nairobi before returning to the shores of her island home. Her global experiences and deep love for the ocean inspire her distinctive designs. Beyond the atelier, she treasures time with her three children, finding balance between creativity, family, and the sea.
